Overview:

The Copernic building, with a surface of 25 000 m², was built in 1988 by the architect Bertrand Bonnier. This building has been buying back by the State in 1997.

This building rehabilitation project aims to:

  • Be respectful of the initial architecture for the technical and thermic renovation.
  • Strengthen the building image from the public space, particularly with an urban integration and urban axis enlightenment.

A reinforcement of the building university identity and an improvement of uses through the « monumental » stairs, the rearrangement of distribution and work area or the terraces layout and accessibility.
