Overview:
- The project is about the layout architecture, the complete refurbishment of the zoological garden, its funding and maintenance.
- Five « biozones » reconstruct the natural habitat of many species Patagonia, the Sahel-Sahara, Europe, Guyana and Madagascar. On long term, a sixth space, dedicated to Australia, the Africa, could be created.
- On the 75 000 sqm of 1934 rocks, only 18 000 area conserved. The « Grand Rocher » perpetuate the memory from its 65 m high. An aviary of 2 000 sqm is created on the past beast’s cage site. A greenhouse will be settled under a glass dome of 100m per 400m recreated with tropical humidity conditions.
